Day hikes
Most hikes CULTURA MONTIS offers are one day hikes. The time needed to
get to the starting point and back sets a certain limitation to the location
of these hikes, so that the regions we go to are the Neuenburger and
Solothurner Jura, the Canton Fribourg, the Bernese Oberland, the northern
Valais and the Central Switzerland. Usually these hikes take place on a
Saturday or Sunday, but Fridays and Mondays may also be chosen.
As a small tour operator and with the possibilities of today’s technologies
short term planning is possible. Usually the dates of day hikes are fixed a
month in advance. Last minute booking is possible.
Weekend hikes
Week-end tours offer the opportunity to learn even more about an area in the
Alps. Sometimes it’s also the longer journey needed to get to the chosen
place like the Tessin or Canton Graubünden, that makes the choice. Because
of staying overnight and due to the hotel reservation needed, these weekend
trips need to be fixed earlier and payment is asked in advance.
Private tours and family trips
